Lady Eliza Spencer Celebrates Lala V Rosé with Exclusive Summer Party at Hackstons

Lady Eliza Spencer marked the UK debut of her Provençal rosé with an exclusive summer celebration at Hackstons’ Knightsbridge flagship store

Lady Eliza Spencer celebrated the UK launch of Lala V Rosé with an exclusive summer party at luxury drinks retailer and whisky cask specialist Hackstons in Knightsbridge last night. The event marked a major milestone for Lala V, with the Côtes de Provence rosé now available exclusively through Hackstons in the UK.

Guests gathered at the retailer’s Knightsbridge flagship for an evening celebrating the wine, its Provençal origins and the personal story behind the brand. During the evening, Lady Eliza sat down for an intimate interview exploring the creation of Lala V, her inspiration for the wine and the shared vision behind the brand with her fiancé, Channing Millerd.

Reflecting on the evening, Lady Eliza said: “The launch at Hackstons was incredibly special. London is home for us, so celebrating Lala V in Knightsbridge and seeing it stocked at Hackstons feels like a real milestone. It’s one of those moments where everything suddenly feels very real.”

Created by Lady Eliza and Channing, Lala V grew from their shared love of rosé, travel, food and bringing people together. Lady Eliza said: “Lala V really came from a shared dream between my fiancé Channing and me. We both love rosé, but also everything that surrounds it - travelling, beautiful food, long lunches in the sunshine and bringing the people you love together. We wanted to create something elegant and special, but still fun and never too serious.”

She added: “For us, it was about creating a rosé that is genuinely delicious, but also has a whole feeling and world around it. It’s elegant and beautifully made, but approachable and fun at the same time. We want Lala V to be associated with beautiful moments and bringing people together.”

The name itself carries a deeply personal meaning for Lady Eliza, combining a childhood family nickname with references to both her family and the brand’s celebration of life. Lady Eliza explained: “It’s incredibly personal. My brother Samuel couldn’t pronounce Eliza when we were little, so he called me “Lala”, and it became a family nickname that has stayed with me ever since. The “V” is for Victoria, my middle name and also my mother’s name, but it also represents vie, meaning “life” in French, which feels so fitting for everything Lala V is about - enjoying life and celebrating beautiful moments.”

Provence was a natural choice for the wine, with the region’s celebrated winemaking heritage central to the couple’s ambition to create an authentic, high-quality rosé. The partnership with Hackstons brings Lala V to the UK through one of Knightsbridge’s luxury drinks destinations, known for its curated selection of whisky, wine and spirits.
