Café Deco chef-owner Anna Tobias joins celebrated sommelier Bert Blaize and head chef Harry Williams at their harbour-front restaurant and wine bar on Wednesday 25th November for one day only
This autumn, one of London's most loved neighbourhood restaurants is heading to the North Norfolk coast. On Wednesday 25th November, Chandlery in Wells-next-the-Sea will welcome Anna Tobias of Café Deco, Bloomsbury, for Café Deco on the Coast, a special collaboration bringing together two kitchens and a shared passion for seasonal produce, thoughtful cooking and exceptional wine.
Anna and Chandlery head chef Harry Williams will create a collaborative four-course menu, combining Café Deco's light, modern approach to classic European recipes with the exceptional fish, game and vegetables sourced by Harry from fishermen, farmers and growers across Norfolk. Chandlery founder and award-winning sommelier Bert Blaize will be on hand to select wines to complement the occasion.
Since opening in November 2020, Café Deco has earned a devoted following for its weekly-changing menu of comforting, timeless dishes and a carefully considered wine list championing independent producers. Chandlery, which opened in May 2026 and enjoyed a fully booked first summer, shares the same philosophy, with menus shaped by the seasons and a cellar of around 400 wines chosen for their character, provenance and sense of place.
Guests can look forward to a menu celebrating the best of the North Norfolk coast in autumn, drawing on the generosity Anna developed at Rochelle Canteen and the respect for ingredients shaped by her years at The River Café. Her signature approach to pastry will also feature, bringing the dinner to a fitting close.
Café Deco on the Coast takes place on Wednesday 25th November 2026, with bookings available from 12pm to 8pm. The four-course menu is priced at £60 per person, including a welcome drink.
